The World Health Organization (WHO) has formally declared the COVID-19 outbreak a pandemic on 12th March 2020. According to WHO, pandemic means a “sudden increase in the number of cases all over the world, usually affecting a large number of people”. Indonesia’s President has also announced Large-scale social restrictions that banned all gatherings, including international meetings, sporting events, social and religious assemblies due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Moreover, Indonesia’s Ministry of Law and Human Rights has announced that Indonesia will ban the entry and/or transit of foreigners into Indonesian territory, as stipulated by Minister of Law and Human Rights regulation No. 11/2020 on the Temporary Prohibition of Foreigners from Entering the Territory of the Republic of Indonesia. The ban will come into effect starting April 2, 2020, and will last until the pandemic is over.
Due to growing concerns about COVID-19,
IAICT 2020 will cancel its physical conference this year and shifting to a fully virtual conference. This unfortunate event does give us the opportunity to innovate on how to host an effective virtual conference. Therefore, organizing committees are now working very hard to create a virtual conference that will be valuable and engaging for both presenters and participants.
The virtual conference is scheduled to be held on 7-9 July 2020. Hence, all presenters for IAICT 2020 are required to prepare a Virtual Video Presentation and must follow the attached guidelines for the preparation of your video presentation.

The fourth Industrial Revolution is emerging and evolving at an exponential rather than a linear pace and disrupting almost every industry in every country. These changes signaling the transformation of entire systems of production, management, and governance. While many organizations might still be in denial about how Industry 4.0 could impact their business, several others are implementing changes and preparing for a future where smart machines escalating their business. This conference will discuss the impact of transition to Fourth Industrial Revolution on Infrastructure, Ecosystem, Efficiency and Competitiveness of industrial operation. The impact of robotics, augmented reality, IOT and artificial intelligent on value chain support and optimization are also discussed. The operational changes of Industry 4.0 on certain industries which emerging into smart operation in terms of monitoring and controlling data will be available.
The conference also covers the impact of Industry 4.0 on optimizing delivery and logistic operations in term of exploring real applications of advanced self-driving systems, loadings and distribution. During the conference, we will study types of smart methods of monitoring and operating engineering activities. We will discuss impacts of automation, robotics and smart sensing on improving production and accuracy.
This conference will provide an international forum for researchers, academicians, professionals, and students from various engineering fields and with cross-disciplinary interests in Industrial 4.0, Intelligence System, and Communication Technology to interact and disseminate information on the latest developments. The conference will include technical sessions, tutorials and technology and business panels. You are invited to submit your papers to the conference. After peer review process, accepted papers will be published in the IAICT 2020 Conference Proceedings and presented papers will be submitted to IEEE Xplore after each paper is thoroughly reviewed and (if any) satisfactorily modified according to the reviewer comments.
